CRAFT works! Clients who use CRAFT have a 70% chance that their loved one will enter treatment. The loved one may be a spouse, partner, or child, or anyone you care about. Traditional interventions have less than a 25% success rate and Al-Anon less than a 15% success rate.
CRAFT goals! Decrease the Identified Patient’s (IP’s) substance use.
Motivate the IP to enter treatment.
Increases happiness in Concerned Significant Others (CSOs), whether or not the IP enters treatment.
CRAFT approach! CRAFT works within your values and beliefs.  A thorough assessment is done first, then an individualized program is developed for you (one or more) and your loved one.
CRAFT outcomes! You learn new skills to cope with old problems.
You learn how to increase your loved one’s sobriety.
You learn how to keep yourself safe.
You learn how to improve the quality of your life.

No one has better information about the behavior patterns of the addicted individual than Concerned Significant Others (CSO). CRAFT teaches you how to use that information in a motivational way to increase the chance of the substance user entering treatment
