The AToN Center is a luxurious six bed California-licensed residential alcohol and drug treatment facility, popularly known as an "alcohol and drug rehab." This two acre hilltop estate, nestled in the hills between the Pacific Ocean and Rancho Santa Fe, is fully landscaped with tropical and subtropical flowering trees and shrubs. The property has expansive gardens and private lookout decks with views of the nearby coast and surrounding mountains. Other highlights include soaring ceilings, a glassed-in gym, saltwater pool and spa, cabana, fountains, barbecue, fire pit, multi-jet outdoor shower, a sauna with 360-degree view, a vegetable garden and fruit trees. 

 

The AToN Center is a completely private and intimate property. Awaken each day to the sights, sounds and fragrances of a subtropical paradise. Private suites are available, including the Presidential Suite with an additional upstairs office and fireplace.

 

The residential addiction treatment experience is based not only on where you stay, but also on what you do there. Services at the AToN Center are provided by a team of high level professionals, directed by Dr. Horvath. Dr. Horvath is one of the leading addiction psychotherapists of our time. There is no other residential facility that combines such a high quality setting with such outstanding clinical care.

If you are concerned about being away from home/work too long, the AToN Center offers a highly intensive alcohol and drug rehab experience that can be of any length. We believe that there are as many roads to addiction recovery as there are individuals.  Therefore it is possible for a motivated individual to benefit from a shorter residential stay, even though 28 or 30 days is the norm.  As with any project, the more time devoted to it, the more that can be accomplished.  However, for some individuals the downside of being away a month or more would make it difficult to concentrate while in rehab.  It is also easier to keep a shorter trip out of town private. There is a 20% surcharge per day for stays 7 days or less. 

We will also work with you, if needed, to allow a balance between time for recovery and time for business.  It is better to address addiction problems sooner rather than later.  However, business priorities may make a rapid and complete departure from business or your profession not feasible.  The compromise is to devote portions of your day to recovery, and portions to business (via cell phone or laptop).  Depending on circumstances it may also be possible to depart the AToN Center for a crucial meeting (typically accompanied by a professional or a family member) and return to continue in treatment.  Call to discuss how we can honor both recovery and other committments in your life.
