Amy K. Epner, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY18455) specializing in the assessment and treatment of eating disorders and their comorbidity with addiction. She has worked extensively in both clinical and research eating disorder and weight management settings.
Dr. Epner also has specialized training in health psychology, including coping with chronic illness, stress reduction, time management, lifestyle changes, and parenting issues. Recently, Dr. Epner has been utilizing her psychological training by applying it to various writing projects.
She earned her bachelor’s degree at Cornell University, her master’s at Brandeis University, and her doctorate at the California School of Professional Psychology-San Diego.
