Alcohol Addiction

Are you in need of treatment for alcohol addiction? You’re not alone. Many of our clients come to us for our self-empowering, personalized alcohol treatment.

According to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, individuals at higher risk for alcohol dependence and alcohol abuse are those whose alcohol consumption exceeds moderate drinking levels.

Moderate drinking levels are considered to be no more than 4 drinks per day and no more than 14 drinks per week for men. For women, these levels are no more than 3 drinks per day and no more than 7 per week. Exceeding the daily or weekly levels is believed to put individuals at greater risk for alcohol related issues.

Many individuals exceed those levels, while others fall below those levels and still wish to quit drinking. Wherever you find yourself in that range, we are here to help.

Practical Recovery’s highly trained staff and clinicians are capable of providing the full continuum of care, including outpatient, intensive outpatient, residential treatment and detox.

Additionally, we support the use of medications shown to be effective components of an alcohol treatment plan. These include anti-craving drugs (Revia, Vivitrol), aversion medications (Antabuse), opioid antagonists (Baclofen) and anti-seizure medications (Topiramate) which help reduce seizures during detox.

Give us a call. Together we can create a personalized alcohol treatment plan that is right for you.
