The Acupuncture Center of La Jolla has been serving Southern California since 1989. Throughout the years, they have worked as a part of the community to provide complementary methods of healing that best serve clients. They coined the phrase, “Chinese Medicine for an American Lifestyle” back in 1989 to establish their desire to bring this most ancient form of healing into the modern world.

Megan Goodrich earned her BA in Anthropology from San Diego State University. She is board certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners as a Holistic Health Coach. She completed her education in nutritional theory, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She also holds certifications as a Nutritional Therapist, Detox Specialist, and Dietary Supplement Specialist from The Health Sciences Academy. She is currently working on her Masters degree in Integrative Psychology from Akamai University. Megan has been a SMART Recovery volunteer facilitator since 2014. Dr. Moreau is a board-certified psychiatrist in private practice in La Jolla, CA. In his practice, Dr. Moreau focuses on the treatment of anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, trauma, and substance misuse using an integrated approach that attempts to blend contemporary neuroscience and biological understandings with a diverse blend of psychotherapies including cognitive behavior therapy and psychoanalytic orientations and approaches to treatment. Dr. Salguero graduated from the University of Guadalajara Medical School after which he earned a Diploma of Clinical Nutrition at the National Institute of Nutrition and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology in Medicine, with a focus on personalized medicine and the clinical applications of genetic polymorphisms and epigenetics. Mario completed his Psychiatry Residency at the University of California at San Diego, where he received, the “Best Resident Clinician” award three years in a row and the prestigious “Lewis L. Judd” Research Award for his research in implementing a mindfulness self-compassion intervention for residents.
